Eligibility
- All applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution.
- A graduate with a minimum CGPA of 5.0 or 50% marks.
- Candidates in their final year of a Bachelor’s degree are also eligible to apply. However, such candidates must submit their original graduation certificate and final year mark sheets upon joining the course.
- A valid score in any of the following common entrance examinations: CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, MAT, GMAT, TANCET, or CSBAT (Crescent School of Business Admission Test) conducted by our institute.
- Candidates must be able to converse, read, and write in English, as the medium of instruction for the CSB MBA programme is English.
- Submission of a formal Statement of Purpose (SOP) is required. This document should detail the candidate’s motivation for joining the MBA IEV programme and their entrepreneurial aspirations.
- While not compulsory, preference is given to candidates with a family business background, experience in a start-up environment, or a defined venture concept.
- Candidates should have good communication skills.

The MBA-IEV is a two-year, full-time postgraduate programme approved by the AICTE and the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell. BSA Crescent Institute of Science and Technology is one of only 21 institutions in India authorized to offer this unique degree, designed to create employers rather than employees.
The curriculum blends core conceptual modules with experiential learning. It is delivered by a mix of scholarly faculty, industry stalwarts, and active entrepreneurs at the Crescent School of Business (CSB) and the Crescent Innovation and Incubation Council (CIIC).
Students can nurture their business ideas in the co-working spaces of CIIC under the mentorship of domain and vertical experts. CIIC is a great forum that provides students an opportunity to interact with various entrepreneurs, industry experts, government officials, angel investors and venture capitalists to convert their ideas into a viable venture.

Curriculum
The MBA IEV curriculum is a structured, outcome-oriented framework that integrates entrepreneurship-focused coursework with skill certifications, capstone projects, and action learning segments. The programme is designed to bridge the gap between innovation theory and practical application, facilitating the transformation of students into entrepreneurs.
Throughout the programme, participants progress from foundational to advanced modules in innovation management and venture development. This phased approach allows students to simultaneously apply their skills in real-world scenarios—validating ideas, building innovations, and testing markets to develop viable business ventures.
The curriculum is delivered over four semesters and includes two Action Learning Segments and three Capstone Projects. These components enable students to:
- Recognize, create, and shape new business opportunities.
- Develop leadership capabilities and assemble start-up teams.
- Construct robust business models.
- Assess market feasibility for the launch of new start-ups.
