Research Advisory Council
The Research Advisory Council consists of experts from various Research Organisations, Universities and Industries. The Research Advisory Council provides policy guidelines and direction for the growth and development of research activities, including Academic Research, Sponsored Research, Consultancy and Industrial Training.
The scope of activities envisioned for the committee includes the following:
- To provide policy guidelines and direction for the growth and development of research activities
- To advise on thrust areas and disciplines for introducing research programmes and related activities for future development in research.
- To suggest measures for improving existing infrastructural facilities both for academic and sponsored research and enhancing research ambience.
- To recommend projects suitable for availing concession if any from State and Central Governments.
- Any other related issues
