Appointed (October 2021- September 2024) as Research Associate at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa, to work remotely on Research Collaboration.

Part of the research project on “Leveraging Technology to Support Women Entrepreneurs’ Covid-19 Resilience Efforts” funded by the Department of Higher Education and Training through the University Capacity Development Programme within the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. The contribution has been well acknowledged and appreciated by the team, University of Johannesburg.

  • Successfully completed a research consultancy project on the “Finland and Japan Model of Education” carried out for Ology Tech School, Mugalivakkam, Chennai from 10th August to 10th October 2023Funding of Rs. 1, 00,000/- (Rupees one lakh only) was received.
  • Also, was completely sponsored to visit Finland and Japan to visit schools and be part of the upskilling program on “International Educators Training Program: on Deep Diving in Finland Education System” from 21st September to 25th September 2023
  • Contributed to the research project on “Leveraging Technology to Support Women Entrepreneurs’ Covid-19 Resilience Efforts” funded by the Department of Higher Education and Training through the University Capacity Development Programme within the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. R 40,000 was funded for the project (2022-2023).
  • Carried out Industry Consultancy Project for M/s. GGS InfoTech, Chennai on” Leveraging CSR for Creating Shared Value, additionally organized an MDP in the same area on 6th October 2017. Received a grant of Rs.50,000/-
  • Carried out consultancy project on “Employee Satisfaction Survey” across different branches of Heidelberg India Pvt. Ltd. (Pan – India) was undertaken from March-June 2012. Received financial grant of Rs. 0.75 lakhs.

Invited as Trainer/Resource Person

  • Invited as resource person-guest speaker on the topic “Contemporary Trends in OB” for the MSc. Psychology Students of JBAS College by the Dept. of Psychology, JBAS, on 5th of February 2024, Monday.
  • Invited by “India Japan Lighting Pvt Ltd”, a Japanese firm, to train their women employees working in different departments. The company is originally known as “KOITO” and has been in Lighting Business for over 90 years. The training was for half a day and was on “Emotional Intelligence and Work-Life Balance” It was conducted on 15 June 2023.
  • On 17 June 2023, I was invited by the Management ofCrescent Girls School for an interaction with their teachers. Around 70 teachers participated in the discussion. The chapters in the book titled “Small Things Make Big Impact: The World ofHigher Education” written by me were discussed. The teachers participated with great enthusiasm in the discussion.

Honors and Award

Dr. Haider Yasmeen is selected as the “Coordinator for the Rising beyond the Ceiling (RBTC), Tamil Nadu State Initiative” (Currently in position, 2024).  A compendium is being prepared across all states to shine the spotlight on 100 million Indian Muslim women, their leadership and contributions in Independent India, as well as research about their demographics, socioeconomic indicators and trend. 

Her name is empanelled as the “Senior Subject Matter Expert” by Tamilnadu Apex Skill Development Centre for Logistics(Currently in position, 2024). https://tnasdcl.in/guest_faculties

Dr. Haider Yasmeen was selected to attend the prestigious “UKIERI-AICTE LEADERSHIP PROGRAMME” (UKIERI-United Kingdom-India Education and Research Initiative) hosted by AICTE at their Head Office, New Delhi from November 19 to Nov 22, 2018. The Leadership Program was funded by AICTE and the British Council of India. Four trainers from Dudley College, UK trained the delegates to enhance their leadership aptitude and bring about positive change at their institution. The second phase of training was in Bangalore during 26 February to 1 March 2019 and the last one at Shillong during 19 June to 21st June 2019. She was one among the top 20 participants who was nominated to visit UK.

She has been selected as a member of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) as part of the Level 5 Certification in Management and Leadership she received from Chartered Management Institute, London, UK.

Dr. Haider Yasmeen was nominated by the Management of our University to visit UITM (Mara), Malaysis (9th-12th of July 2017) to study their academic approach in the area of Management Studies and Entrepreneurship. Prof. Razmi Chick of Malaysian Academy of SME and Academic Development (MASMED) was invited (31st July- 4th August 2017) to train the trainers on “Social Entrepreneurship” and the course was introduced for all the departments in the university.
