Eligibility for BCA Programme

The following are the four specializations offered in BCA Degree Programme

BCA – Cloud Technology & Information Security
BCA – Data Science
BCA – Artificial Intelligence
BCA – Cyber Security

The minimum qualification required to apply is a pass in 10+2 examination or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% overall aggregate of marks from any recognized Central or State Board with Mathematics as one of the core subjects. A course recognized as equivalent thereto by the Institute. Candidates date of birth should fall on or after 1st July 2002.

Program Educational Objectives

  • To give good foundation in mathematics and computing sciences for acquiring computational knowledge level understanding of systems modeling and algorithm development.
  • To give technical knowledge in various high-level and systems level programming languages to comprehend, analyze, design and create innovative computing solutions for information technology projects.
  • To empower the students for self learning by providing quality environment to upgrade their skill in creating and maintaining data centers, system resources and infrastructure for the organizations in their information
    technology projects.

Program Outcomes:

  • Computational knowledge for mathematical and systems modeling through effective teaching and learning processes.
  • Prepare requirement engineering metrics with scientific diagrams for system software/application software product development.
  • Design and development of solution methodologies and implementation of simple computational algorithms.
  • Conduct literature survey and summarize the inferences from the authentice-resources.
  • Ability to select appropriate software tools for development as well as testing for successful implementation.
  • Become a software professional with social responsibilities and ethical values.
  • Provide the necessary skill set to solve societal and environmentally sensitive problems in professional manner.
  • Manage technology and configuration change management in the working places.
  • Function as individual member or leader of team and able to manage projects in the software development and project automation processes.
