Value Added Course
Tally Prime 5.0
Tally Prime 5.0 course was inaugurated on 13th November 2025 by Department of Commerce, School of Social Sciences and Humanities in association with M/s JM Education Initiatives Pvt Ltd, Chennai. More than 60 students were enrolled out of which our peer team shortlisted 56 students for the course.
The inauguration of the event was held at the commerce computer lab on 13th November 2025, and the event was inaugurated by Dr. K. Soundrapandian, Head-Department of Commerce who delivered the welcome address and gave valuable insights into the technical skill especially accounting skill and importance of tally course.
Tally Prime 5.0
Introduction to Tally Prime 5.0 course was inaugurated on 4th February 2025 by Department of Commerce, School of Social Sciences and Humanities in association with Finanzo Ed-Tech Limited, Chennai. The program was coordinated by Mr.R.Sebastin, Assistant professor, Department of Commerce.
Hands on Training on Tally
The Department of Commerce organized a one week Tally Prime programme from 24.06.2024 to 01.07.2024 in offline mode especially designed for Commerce Students. A total of 46 students participated and gained the tally software knowledge. This course on Tally PRIME aims to equip participants with the skills necessary to leverage this powerful tool to its full potential.
Virtual Student Exchange Program
As a part of MOU signed with Universitias Islam Bandung-Indonesia for the Virtual student exchange program, for which 39 students in the Department of Commerce have registered for 3 online certificate courses. Out of 39 students, 21 students successfully completed the course.
