National Conference “SETCE’ 12”
Two days National Conference on “Sustainable and Emerging Technologies in Civil Engineering (SETCE-12)” Co-ordinated by Mrs.M.Jothilakshmi and Mrs.V.Vandhana Devi was held on 3rd and 4th May 2012. The Conference was sponsored by Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). Technical papers were invited from research scholars, academicians and Post graduate students. Dr.M.S.MATHEWS, Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, IIT-Madras inaugurated the Conference and released the Conference Proceedings and Souvenir. The themes for the conference include emerging concepts in Design, Construction, Planning, Research and Sustainable Development in the areas of Structural Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering and Water Resources Engineering etc.
