Outcome based learning
For every course, outcome is defined. The teaching learning process carried out to attain the outcome. Various assessment schemes such as continuous assessment test, semester end examinations are mapped with the outcome and implemented to measure the attainment of outcome. By the end of the course, each student should have achieved goal.
Problem Based Learning
Courses based on solving problems manually are considered for problem based learning. It is a student-centered pedagogy in which students learn about a subject through the experience of solving a problem through algorithm or rules. It can be practiced during tutorial classes.
#Example 1: CSB3101 Algorithm Design and Analysis
Solving problems like & using
#Example 2 : CSB3212 Introduction to Compiler Construction
Tutorial sessions are carried out to solving the problems like
Project Based Learning
Students identify problems, analysis and implement the solution for the problem through tools or programming language. It is a teaching method in which students gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to an authentic, engaging and complex question, problem, or challenge. Project can be implemented as a individual or as a team.
#Example 1: CSBY44 SOCIAL NETWORK ANALYSIS
Highlights of Project Based Learning:
I HANDS ON SESSION WORK – GRAPHING SOCIAL NETWORK
Students analyze their social networks using graph theory. They gather data on their own social relationships, either from Facebook interactions or the interactions they have throughout the course of a day, recording it in Microsoft Excel and using Cytoscape (a free, downloadable application) to generate social network graphs that visually illustrate the key persons (nodes) and connections between them (edges). The nodes in the Cytoscape graphs are color-coded and sized according to the importance of the node (in this activity, nodes are people in students’ social networks). After the analysis, the graphs are further examined to see what can be learned from the visual representation. Students gain practice with graph theory vocabulary, including node, edge, betweeness centrality and degree on interaction, and learn about a range of engineering applications of graph theory.
II PROPOSED TO WORK WITH ANY TWO VISUALIZATION /SOCIAL NETWORK ANALYSIS (FACEBOOK/TWITTER/INSTAGRAM) TOOLS (OF STUDENTS CHOICE)
III PROJECTS : MINI PROJECT – using Social network analysis tool
#Example 2: CSB2217 Microprocessor and Microcontroller Lab
SOLUTION – PROJECT BASED LEARNING
For Project Based Learning, students utilized the technology to implement the problem for finding the solution.

Activity Based Learning
Activity based Learning is a teaching methodology through various activities like quiz, brain storming, puzzle solving, poster design etc. This makes the students to get more interest on the subject and involves more lively. Most of the courses use this learning pedagogy for teaching.
#Example 1: CSBY44 SOCIAL NETWORK ANALYSIS
I ACTIVITY BASED LEARNING
Peer Learning
Peer learning is an educational practice in which students interact with other students to attain educational goals. Outstanding students coach the slow learners to have better understanding on the subject. Course is identified through the performance of the students in the assessment and difficult topics are discussed during extra class hours.
#For Example : CSB3101 Algorithm analysis and design – identified by the student.
