Cyber Security Hackathon 2025

The government of India as a part of their vision to promote the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship among the students has taken wonderful step towards organizing a PSB Hackathon series anchored by public sector bank of India. Indian Overseas Bank(IOB) as a part of its steadfast commitment towards innovation and student welfare has collaborated with our esteemed Crescent Institute as an academic and knowledge partner for computer science student from various departments to participate and come up with an innovative solution for the problem statement listed by the IOB ministry. The Crown Team members participated and won First Place, awarded with a cash prize of TWO LAKH Rupees  in Cyber Security Hackathon 2025 conducted by IOB Govt. of India.

The team members presented “AI Powered Secure Authentication System through SmartOTP” for cardless/cashless secure transaction and won THIRD PLACE, awarded with a cash prize of ONE LAKH Rupees  in Cyber Security Hackathon 2025.

VCET HackElite 2025

Innocent Pious .C, Infant Andreas .P, Rakesh Bharathi .S of Final year CSE participated VCET HackElite and won second place with a cash prize of Rs 30,000/- during August 2025.

MTU Hackathon

Sabeer Sulaiman Khan .G, Syed Tufail Ahamed, Innocent Pious .C of IV year CSE participated in MTU Hackathon at IITM Research Park and won First Place with cash prize of Rs 10,000/- during March 2025.

NEXATHON’25

Lional Mahendra Raja, Kowshik, Karthikeyan of final AI & DS participated in NEXATHON’25 at KCG College of Technology during April 2025 and won cash prize of Rs 10,000/-.

HACKFORGE’25

Sabeer Sulaiman Khan, Syed Tufail Ahmed, Innocent Pious participated in HACKFORGE at SRMIST and won First place with cash prize of Rs 10,000/- during Feb. 2025

Guinness World Record

Renushree of II year IoT has won in State Level Karate Championship-2024 and has participated in “Guinness World Records” organized by World Karate Masters Association.

ISRO Internship

Divyavarshini of Final year IoT has successfully completed her internship at ISRO during the academic year 2024-25.

Project Xplosion

Mohammed Fahd Mustafa .A  of III-year CSE-B has won first place in Project Xplosion and awarded with cash prize of rupees 1500/- at R. M. K. College of Engineering and Technology during March 2025.

Badminton Winner

Mohamed Momeen .A of III-year IoT has won third place in Badminton at YMCA College of Physical Education during July 2025.

Tamil Nadu Karate Championship

Veshal .A of Final year CSE-D has won second place in State Level Karate Championship held at Sairam Engineering College during Jan. 2024

National Level BenchPress

Lakshana. N of II-year Cyber Security has won National level benchpress  – Sliver Medal for lifiting 52kg in single lift held at Bangalore during Nov. 2023

Smart India Hackathon 2020

Mr. Adithya from team Tradent who participated in Smart India Hackathon 2020 conducted by MHRD Govt of India. It is a National level innovation hackathon conducted by central government along with various ministries where in which more than 3 lakh Students from various top educational institutes across the nation have participated and come up with an innovative solution for the Problem statement listed by the respective Ministry. The team Tradent presented a project “Agriculture Robot” and have won in the Grand Finale Hardware edition. They have been awarded with a cash prize of 1 lakh rupees and further the respective ministry from central Govt will fund and incubate them into a start-up and help them bring their project as a commercial product.
