Inauguration of SIT

The Department of Information Technology conducted the inaugural function of Society of Information Technologists for the academic year 2021-2022 on 26.11.2021 from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm in virtual mode through the Google Meet app. The inaugural address on “Embrace Technology” was presented by Mr. Charles Godwin, HR leader and public speaker from ZOHO corporation. Dr.G.Kavitha, Associate Professor / IT , welcomed the speaker, faculty and the students. Dr.I.Sathik Ali, HOD / IT delivered the presidential address at the inaugural event. All the second, third and final year students of B.Tech(IT) & M.Tech (IT) attended the event in virtual mode.

National Level Technical Symposium – ICON 2K22

The Department of Information Technology organized a National Level Technical Symposium, ‘ICON 2K22’ on 25th of June 2022. Mr Joshua David M.D, India Campus Lead, Mphasis, Chennai was the chief guest and delivered a talk on “Brand You”. Dr.I.Sathik Ali, Head of the Department welcomed the speaker, faculty, staff and students for the technical symposium. The participants from various Institutions and also from the host Institution registered and participated in ICON 2K22.
