Post-Doctoral Fellowship (PDF)
Objective
Post-Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) at Crescent provides advanced research and professional development opportunities to individuals who have recently completed their doctoral studies. This fellowship aims to enhance their expertise, promote interdisciplinary collaboration, and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in STEM-related fields.
Eligibility
- Applicants should have a minimum of 03 research publications in refereed indexed journals.
- Applicants who have not yet completed their viva-voce examination are not eligible to apply.
- Post-doctoral fellows shall receive a fellowship amount of Rs. 30,000/- consolidated per month.
- Fellowship is purely a temporary position.
- Fellowship is for a period of one year (extendable).
- Only one (01) Post-Doctoral Fellowship position shall be allocated to each Department.
- Inter-disciplinary fields of research are encouraged.
- Applicant shall identify a suitable Mentor for the proposed research.
- Department / School level selection committee will scrutinize the applications based on the applicant’s research profile and proposed research.
- The selection will be based on the recommendations of the Department / School level selection committee and on approval of the Competent Authority
- Candidates who applied in the earlier advertisement of PDFs are required to apply afresh. The earlier application will not be considered.

- Applications with insufficient information or without relevant supporting documents will not be considered for further processing.
Guidelines for mentoring Post-Doctoral Fellow
- Mentor shall be a Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor with a minimum of 5 years post Ph.D.
- Mentor shall have completed at least 3 Ph.D. scholars.
- Mentor shall have published at least 10 SCI / SCI-E journals to his / her credit.
