Industrial Visit to CSIR (Council for Scientific and Industrial Research), Bangalore – 26.09.2024

On September 26, 2024, students from the II and III year, B. Tech IT, along with two faculty members – Mr. Mohammed Wajid Khan and Mrs. Ramya, visited CSIR Fourth Paradigm Institute (CSIR-4PI), Bengaluru, for an industrial tour. This visit provided an excellent opportunity to explore cutting-edge high-performance computing (HPC) and cybersecurity research at the institute, particularly the “Ananta” Supercomputing Facility, which plays a crucial role in India’s scientific and technological advancements.

Industrial Visit to NRSC (National Remote Sensing Centre), Hyderabad-18.04.2024

On April 17 2024, 53 students from II year, B. Tech IT (Bachelor of Information Technology) and 5 students from M. Tech IT (Master of Information Technology) along with two faculty members – Dr. Mohammed Wajid Khan and Ms. Sonya – had the privilege of embarking on an educational and insightful industrial visit to NRSC (National Remote Sensing Centre) ISRO, Hyderabad. It was a wonderful opportunity to explore NRSC in Hyderabad managing satellite data acquisition and processing, with a reception station in Shadnagar.

Industrial Visit to VSSC (Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre), Trivandrum- 08.04.2025

On April 8, 2025, a total of 52 students from B.Tech IT (2022–26 batch, VI Semester), 40 students from B.Tech IT (2023–27 batch, IV Semester), and 2 students from M.Tech IT (2023–25 batch, IV Semester), accompanied by four faculty members – Dr. Gnanasekaran (Assistant Professor, Sel. Gr.), Dr. Nallarasu (Assistant Professor), Ms. R. Pavithra (Assistant Professor), and Ms. R. Ramya (Assistant Professor) – had the privilege of visiting the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), Thiruvananthapuram. This industrial visit provided an excellent opportunity for the students to gain valuable insights into the pioneering work carried out at VSSC, enriching their academic learning with practical exposure to advanced space research and technological innovations.

Industrial Visit to C-DAC

The October 27, 2023 industrial visit to C-DAC, Bangalore, marked a transformative experience for 49 students enrolled in the II year B. Tech IT program. This educational journey provided a unique opportunity for these students to explore the cutting-edge field of advanced computing, with a special focus on the PARAM Utkarsh Supercomputer, a significant achievement under India’s National Supercomputing Mission. Throughout the visit, students successfully achieved various objectives, including gaining insights into research and development activities, identifying collaboration opportunities, and fostering valuable connections with industry leaders.
