- With over 24 years of academic, research, and industrial experience, He is a distinguished pharmaceutical scientist known for impactful contributions to advanced drug-delivery technologies. His work is widely recognized in global pharmaceutical technology literature, reflected by 1,740+ citations, a Google Scholar h-index of 21, and a Scopus h-index of 17. His research portfolio includes 83 peer-reviewed international publications in reputed, high-impact journals.
- He has actively handled PCI and QCI inspections, as well as compliance with other regulatory bodies, ensuring high academic and institutional quality standards.
- His professional journey includes key roles in the pharmaceutical industry, working with Lupin Pharma, Pune, followed by serving as Assistant Manager at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, where he gained strong expertise in formulation development and translational product design.
- Academically, he holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi, and is GATE-qualified, demonstrating excellence in foundational pharmaceutical sciences. He has successfully guided 02 Ph.D. scholars, is currently supervising 05 Ph.D. candidates, and has mentored more than 21 M.Pharm and over 50 B.Pharm projects, contributing significantly to research training and capacity building in the discipline.
- A prolific academic contributor, he has authored textbooks, edited scientific books, and holds national and international patents in nanotechnology-based formulations, microneedle systems, and targeted therapeutics for cancer, alopecia, and chronic inflammatory diseases.
- His research excellence has been supported by competitive national and international grants, including funding from The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University and the University of Tabuk (KSA). Professionally, he serves on doctoral research committees, reviews manuscripts for reputed journals, and is frequently invited as a speaker/resource person for conferences, Faculty Development Programs, workshops, and international webinars.
- He also actively contributes to academic events, including organizing the Workshop on “Bio-Signal Data Acquisition and Analysis & Zebrafish – Alternative Animal Model,” held at Crescent School of Pharmacy (March 2023). Most recently, he delivered an invited international lecture on “Fundamentals of Health Research (With Key Takeaways on Identifying the Right Journal and Avoiding Predatory Journals)”, hosted by the University of Cyberjaya, Malaysia.

- Invited by Avinashilingam University and the Prof. C.N.R. Rao Research Centre, Tamil Nadu, to deliver a session on “Indian Standards in Cosmetic Product Development and Fundamentals of Skincare Cosmetic Formulation”, or any related topic in the area of cosmetics. The program includes 30 participants per batch, comprising postgraduate students, Ph.D. scholars, faculty members, and entrepreneurs. The session is scheduled to be conducted online, on every Saturdays.
