Since its inception in 1984, the B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology has become a renowned Quality Leadership Institution nestled in the greenest spot of Chennai near Tambaram. For over 40 years, our institution has provided access to a wide range of academic opportunities, offering 57 programs across 12 different schools, including 32 Undergraduate, 25 Postgraduate, and Ph.D. programs in all departments.

A significant milestone in our journey is the Crescent Global Outreach Mission (Research and Development), established in 2023. This mission extends our cutting-edge research and innovations to the global stage, focusing on advancements in Materials Science, Biotechnology, Energy and Battery technologies, as well as Medical and Biomedical research. The goal of this mission is to foster collaboration with international research bodies, industries, and governments to address the global challenges in healthcare, sustainable technology, and scientific innovation. By pushing the frontiers of medical and biomedical research, the mission is to improve healthcare outcomes, develop new therapies, and ensure better health and well-being for communities around the world.
