BSA Crescent IST students and staff members were participated in the FIT India Freedom Run 2.0 organised by Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu, Chengalpattu for the Celebration of 75th Independence Day, awareness of fitness among people and Awareness of COVID 19 vaccination. Chengalpet District Collector Thiru. A. R. Rahul Nath IAS has inaugurated the event and distributed Price and Certificates to the Participants. Department of Physical Education express its gratitude to the Management and Authorities of Crescent IST.

75th Independence Day Celebration
We celebrated 75th Independence Day on 15th August 2021 in our Crescent Campus. In this occasion our honorable Chancellor hoisted the National Flag and given the Independence Day Message to all. And we celebrated in difference way of games and rally of our ancient day’s remembrance. And students are given wonderful cultural program and demonstrate the Silambam. In this Platinum Jubilee celebration was good and memorable one in this year.
MoU Signed between BSACIST and TNPESU
On 07/08/2021 we have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University. Our BSACIST students can utilize the coaches for their training and other sports related activities.

Kalams World Record Book
Our Student R.SURYA OF 3RD BBA Set KALAMS WORLD RECORD for SILAMBAM-THARASU published in KALAMS WORLD RECORD BOOK. The event was organized by Department of Physical Education, Office of Student Affairs and Crescent Silambam Club in our Crescent Campus on 3rd February 2021 at Crescent Sports Village, Adjudicators from Kalams World Record has declared his record after his 2 hours’ performance.

The 1st State Level Targetball Shooting Competition – 2020

Totally 152 players from 11 districts were participated in that 99 men players and 53 women players. Dr. A. Azad Registrar, BSACIST and Mr. VNA. JALAL Senior General Manager, BSACIST were inaugurated the Competition. Mr. Jamal Sherif G. F. Technical Chairman TNTA, General Secretary TNTA, Dr S. Selvakumar, Director, Dept of PE, BSACIST and Dr. R. Purushothaman, Dy. Director, Dept of PE, BSACIST& Technical Committee TNTA were coordinated this event.
Dr. A. K. KaliluthinDy. Director & Associate Professor, BSACIST has delivered the Special Address and distributed the prices to the winners in the Valedictory Ceremony.
7th National Youth Rural Games – 2020
Mr.Vasist Vignesh of 1st MBA won the Gold Medal (Performance: 7.20 Mts) in the event of long jump at 7th National Youth Rural Games 2020, Organized by Youth Rural Sports and Games Federation of India held at Anjuna Stadium and Muspsa Stadium, Goa on 20th November to 23rd November 2020. This is the greatest achievement by our student putting his hard work & dedication. We are thankful to our beloved Chancellor, Pro Chancellor, Pro Vice Chancellor, Registrar, Deputy Registrar and General Manager for congratulating our student.
Independence Day 2020, 15th August
Department of Physical Education organized 74th Independence Day Celebrations were held at our Institution. Dr. A. Peer Mohamed, Pro Vice Chancellor hoisted the National Flag & addressed the gathering. Dr. A. Azad, Registrar, VNA Jalal, Senior General Manager participated in the event.

Badminton – Men won the First Prize, Table Tennis – Women won the First Prize, 100M Race – Men won the Second Prize.

All India Inter University Ball Badminton Tournaments for Men 2018-19
Our institute won the winning position in the All India Inter University Ball Badminton Tournaments for Men 2018-19 organised by SRM Institute, Potheri from 12th to 16th December – 2018 and nearly 100 Universities from all over India have participated in this Tournament. This is the greatest achievement by our students putting their hard work & dedication. We are thankful to our beloved Chancellor, Pro Chancellor, Vice Chancellor, Registrar, Dean Students (Affairs) for congratulating our students.
Independence Day Celebration on 15 August 2018
You all must be aware of the “Independence Day Celebration” was conducted in our Institute on August 15, 2018.
We thank our beloved Registrar Dr.A.Azad sir for hoisting the National Flag along with Senior General Manager, The Principal of Crescent school, The Dean (SIS) & The Dean Students Affairs and also we thank the management for giving us such a wonderful opportunity to conduct this event on behalf of Physical Education Department.
