The Executive Leadership Programme assists professionals in attaining the desired competency to earn the chartered qualification – MRICS.

This programme is apt for mid-career professionals (minimum of four years experience) who wish to initiate the journey of gaining the globally recognized chartered qualification for built environment – MRICS. Since the primary objective of ELP is to work towards MRICS, the eligibility and enrolment process is governed by the requirements for MRICS.

1. ELP in Real Estate Business Management (REBM)

Overview

Real Estate professionals have multi-disciplinary skills i.e. business development, finance, marketing, consulting, facilities management and transactions.

The Executive Leadership Programme (ELP) in Real Estate Business Management (REBM) is designed for professionals aspiring for leadership roles in the specializations of management consultancy, residential property and commercial property, by enhancing their skill-sets, referred to as ‘competencies’.

The programme will enable professionals to analyze real estate markets and work out optimal scenarios for development and investment besides evolving an organization strategy and a project specific marketing plan. This would involve efficient utilization of organization resources, planning and execution of real estate and infrastructure projects.

2. ELP in Real Estate Valuations (REV)

Overview

Real Estate Valuations are vital to a healthy property market and a stable economy, forming the basis of performance analysis, financing decisions, transactional or development advice, dispute resolution, taxation and various statutory applications.

This programme is designed to enable professionals to analyze complex environment of real estate valuations, issues involved in it and how to address these issues in professional and ethical manner. It will also impart in-depth knowledge on valuation methodologies, land and its attributes, urban governance regime in India as well as international framework for professional standards comprising both International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC) and RICS Red Book. The programme would help participants as bridge between USPAP and IVSC to facilitate consistent practice across the globe.

Overview

Professionals in Corporate Real Estate & Facilities Management assist businesses to plan and execute essential property decisions, from day to day matters to strategy planning (for example, moving the company to bigger or better buildings).

The Executive Leadership Programme (ELP) in Corporate Real Estate & Facilities Management (CRE & FM) is designed for professionals who are aspiring for leadership roles in corporate real estate or facilities management (in-house or external) functions by enhancing their skill-sets, referred to as ‘competencies’.

The programme is apt for all CRE and FM professionals across industry sectors and services, who may be employed by consultants, facilities management providers, client departments, the public sector etc.

4. ELP in Quantity Surveying (QS)

Overview

Construction Quantity Surveyors are the cost planners and cost managers of the construction industry that includes both the real estate and infrastructure sub-sectors.

They are initially involved with the capital expenditure phase of a building or facility, which is the feasibility, design and construction phases, but they can also be involved with the extension, refurbishment, maintenance and demolition of a facility or asset.

The Executive Leadership Programme (ELP) in Quantity Surveying (QS) is designed for professionals who are aspiring for leadership roles in the construction cost management or quantity surveying function by enhancing their skill-sets, referred to as ‘competencies’.

Quantity surveyors work in all sectors of the construction industry worldwide. In real estate this covers residential, commercial, industrial, leisure, agricultural and retail facilities. In infrastructure it covers roads, railways, waterways, airports, sea ports, coastal defences, power generation and utilities.

They must understand all aspects of construction over the whole life of a building or facility and must have the ability to manage cost- effectivity, equating quality and value with individual client needs.

5. ELP in Construction Contracts and Dispute Management (CC & DM)

Overview

There is a huge emphasis on the development of Infrastructure in India, Asia and Africa. As per Arcadis Global construction Report 2020, the biggest cause of conflicts and disputes in the construction industry is failure to formulate, manage and understand contracts. There is a huge gap all across the world in the availability and requirement of experienced contract management professionals in the construction industry.

Contract Management requires interdisciplinary skills and knowledge of construction management, Project management , contracts, legal issues and stakeholder management.

ELP in Contract Management is a comprehensive Executive Leadership Programme launched by RICS in India. The programme will provide additional competencies for experienced professionals employed in the construction industry in dealing with construction contracts, disputes and legal aspects. Overview

Sales and marketing can be called the lifeline of any business and accordingly sales and marketing professionals play an important role and directly contribute to the top line of an organization. Sales professionals are the face of any organization and the first point of contact to the client.
