The IT Trailblazers club was officially inaugurated on 14th September 2023 by Mr. Abdul Hakim, Founder and CEO of ABR Systems Private Limited. The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr.SharmilaSankar, Dean of the School of Computer,Information and Mathematical Sciences, and Dr.N.Prakash, Head of the IT Department. Faculty coordinators of the IT Trailblazers club and student coordinators were also in attendance, marking the beginning of an exciting journey for the club.

Our vision is to empower members to leverage coding passion for impactful solutions, fostering innovation and nurturing diverse talents to shape technology’s future.

Our mission is to cultivate a vibrant community focused on learning, collaboration, and inspiration, enabling members to thrive in the rapidly evolving tech landscape through skill-building and knowledge-sharing.

• Through practice sessions and mock competitions, we prepare our members for competitive programming contests.
• We organise guest lectures, workshops, and industry visits to provide our members with exposure to real-world applications of coding.

Boot to Root Workshop at ICON 2k24

The IT Trailblazers club conducted the “Boot to Root” workshop on February 8th, 2024, as part of ICON 2k24, a national-level technical symposium. The workshop included four rounds: a warm-up session on Google dorks, a recon round on identifying targets and vulnerabilities, an XSS game, and the final “Collateral Damage” round. The event provided a platform for participants to enhance their cybersecurity skills.

 

Workshop on Portfolio Website Creation using Tailwind CSS

The IT Trailblazers club hosted a workshop on portfolio website creation on October 31 and November 7, 2023. The workshop covered the basics of web design and development, including SEO optimization and full deployment of the website. Participants learned to create visually appealing and informative online portfolios.
