- Office Bearers of Rotaract Club of BSAU attended Assembly meeting held in Chettinad Vidhyashram, Aryapuram on 1stSeptember, 2013 conducted by Rotary International District 3230.
- Inauguration & Installation of office bearers of Rotaract Club of B.S.Abdur Rahman Institute on 2nd September 2013.
- 100 Volunteers, Faculty members of RCBSAU participated in the “World’s Biggest HI-5” event which is a part of flag march leading towards a Guinness approved “Hand Formation” held on 5th October 2013.
- Volunteers, Faculty members of RCBSAU participated in the “Chennai’s biggest Trio Rally ” on 6th October 2013 which is a part of Rotary International Presidential Conference on new generations .
- Organized “Blood Donation Camp” on 9th October 2013. In total 175 members of both staffs ‘students and Rotarians donated blood.
- Office bearers meeting to discuss the activities of our Rotaract club on 18-11-2013
- Fund Raising programme “Thal Thondu” (Paper Collection) was organized during 14-09-2012 to 21-09-2012.An amount of Rs.7500/- has been collected and this amount will be spend for the children in Orphanages.
- Faculty members and Volunteers participated in Rotary Conference held during 15th -16th March 2014. They created awareness among the Rotary family regarding the Open House Event to be held during 30th and 31st 2014 in our institute. And distributed more than 2500 brochures.
- RCBSAU and Youth Red cross Society jointly organized a Dental check up camp on 27.02.2014 for the students, faculty and supporting staff.
ACTIVITIES FOR THE YEAR 2012
- Installation of office bearers of Rotaract Club of B.S.Abdur Rahman Institute was held on 22-08-2012 for the academic year 2012-2013.Rotarian R.Srinivasan District Director-New Generation was the Chief Guest, Rtr. A.Anusha was nominated as president and she introduced the new office bearers of her team . News Bulletin for the year 2011-2012 was released by Rtn.R.Srinivasan and the first copy was received by our Registrar Dr.V.M.Periyasamy.
- Fund Raising programme “Thal Thondu” (Paper Collection) was organized during 14-09-2012 to 21-09-2012.An amount of Rs.5000 has been collected.
- Organized “Blood Donation Camp” on 18-10-2012. In total 110 members of both staffs ‘students and Rotarians donated blood.
- Our student volunteer was given introduction of Rotary Club and its activities by Rtn.C Tamilselvan, Assistant Governor, District 3230 and Rtn..R.Tamilselvan, President, Rotary Club of Madras Mount and to our student volunteers on 28-10-11
- Organized “Blood Donation Camp” on 15-11-11. In total 210 members of both staffs ‘students and Rotarians donated blood.
- Office bearers meeting to discuss the activities of our Rotaract club on 17-11-11
- Coordinated with RCMC in organizing a field trip to Vandaloor Zoo for 60 hearing impaired children from “Guild of Services” Anna Nagar on 24-12-11
- A Joint meeting was held between Rotary Club of Madras Mount, Annettes Club of Madras Mount and Rotaract Club of B.S.Abdur Rahman Institute on 24-12-11.
- Dr.V.M.Periasmay, Registrar handed over the official letter for the donation of 12 Computers from the Department of Information Technology to Mr. R.TamilSelvan, President, Rotary Club of Madras Mount in the presence of Dr.T.R.Rangaswamy to distribute the same to the following schools on 30th Jan. 2012.

- Rotary Club of Madras Mount organized a Personality development program RYLA for 75 school children in association with Rotaract Club of BSAU for the students of Government School jointly with Rotary Club of Madras Mount our institute Seminar Hall II on 25th Feb 2012. Dr.V.M.Periasamy, Registrar delivered a motivation speech and distributed the certificates to the children in the valedictory session.
- A fund raising programme for the notion “END POLIO” was organized by the Rotaract Club of BSAU and contribution of Rs.35000/- by faculty members and Students was handed over to the THE ROTARY FOUNDATION, India on 14.05.2012.

PROJECT1:
Once a paper is used it is usually called a’waste’ but,is that the maximum usage one can find? Here we came up with a solution Named “THAL THONDU”.It was a fund raiser program conducted on 12th September ,2012 through which we collected Old newspapers from within the college campus such that each student contributes atleast two newspapers which was sold to a vendor and the money collected out of it was used for a noble cause.
As a team our Rotaract students enjoyed each step of the process from the initial announcements until the final collection of money ,with the great support of our staffs.We also hooked up small Get to-gathers,innovative ideas inorder to plan the program and to have fun in each step we get into.
PROJECT 2:
‘God created a mother ,but the humans started the Rotaract club both has the power to change the blood to a life’
A blood donation camp was held at B.S.A.U on the 18th of October ,2012 with a good number of generous donors.We felt so surprised to see the passion of the donors who set an example for the budding petals of our college.Soon after this camp we felt happy and strong being a part of it.
PROJECT 3:
-“Giving need not be loosing always,but can be the cause for a rising hope”
Yes,we contributed a little and received a lot!! On the Christmas day ,the 25th of December ,2012 our celebrations started in an orphanage by providing stationeries for around 150 school goers and by cutting cake.It was the first time we all ‘celebrated’ a day,as it means not just enjoying within four walls,but to share and care with four people around.
