In addition to routine medical support, the Institute actively promotes community-focused health initiatives that encourage responsible civic participation and long-term public well-being.
A notable example was the Blood Donation Camp held on 13th & 15th October 2025, organized in association with Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital. The camp witnessed 724 participants, including students, professors, and staff, who came forward to support a life-saving cause. Beyond the collection of blood, the event also served as a powerful awareness platform, strengthening public understanding of the importance of consistent and responsible donation.
The Institute continues to expand preventive healthcare outreach through upcoming programs, including a Dental Screening & Treatment Camp in collaboration with Chettinadu Hospital, and an Eye Check-up Camp sponsored by the Rotary Club of Madras Mount, in association with Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital.
Collectively, these initiatives reflect the Institute’s sustained commitment to public health awareness and holistic care, guided by the enduring legacy of Dr. B.S. Abdur Rahman, whose contributions to education and healthcare continue to inspire meaningful community service.
