Grateful Reunion with My Guru Prof. P. Brahmanayagam

I’m very happy and fortunate to meet my professional and career GURU Prof. P. Brahmanayagam Sir at his residence in Madurai today after 13 years. I started my teaching career as Lecturer in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (EIE) Department, National Engineering College (NEC), Kovilpatti in 1997 under his leadership. His invaluable mentorship and unwavering guidance over a period of 13 years shaped me in all the dimensions of Engineering Education which encompass teaching, research and administration. At the age of 86 years, Prof. PB sir recounted our cherished memories from the NEC days, having milk sweets, during our delightful two-hour conversation. I feel truly blessed to have received Prof. PB sir’s heartfelt wishes for all the festivals since 1997, even more so over the phone after his retirement from NEC in 2010.
