Existence and Role of the Student Council

The B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology has an exclusive Student Council that serves as the official student union. It functions as a representative body for undergraduate and postgraduate students, recommending academic programs, student welfare, and related matters.

Functions and Student Representation

The Crescent Student Council actively represents student interests, acts as a liaison between students and university administration, and organizes institutional events. It also publishes the Crescent Line newsletter, which shares academic updates, placement news, scholarships, and government job opportunities.

Leadership Structure and Democratic Elections

The Student Council operates democratically, with elected office bearers including a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, and Treasurer. Additionally, executive members from various departments and academic years ensure broad representation, reinforcing a fair and inclusive governance system.

Student Engagement and Communication

The Crescent Line newsletter is a key communication tool. It features articles, event highlights, faculty and student contributions, and institutional updates. This initiative fosters engagement among students, faculty, and external stakeholders.

Crescent Line is the prestigious official Newsletter of the Institution started to connect all the stakeholders and well-wishers of our institution. Published as a monthly periodical with memories of the Crescent in Classic Crescent, potential articles on current topics, placement news, daily happenings of the institution, arts, and photos of faculties and students. Also, notify useful information related to government jobs and scholarship for the students.
