Welcome to the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) at B. S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology, established in 1984 alongside the college’s inception. Our department has been at the forefront of delivering quality education and conducting cutting-edge research in the field.

Expert Faculty

All our faculty members with a minimum qualification of Ph.D., are engaged in research across various specializations, including Smart Grid, Micro Grid, Renewable Energy, E-Vehicle, Power System, High Voltage Engineering, Electric Machines, Power Electronics, Control System, Applied Electronics, and Embedded Systems. The faculty-to-student ratio is an impressive 1:24, with an average faculty experience of 14 years.

Research and Achievements

The department takes pride in its research accomplishments, having produced 18 Ph.Ds, with 09 research scholars actively contributing. Our citation count stands at 1510, with an h-index of 44 and an average impact factor of 2.148. The department has completed consultancy projects worth Rs. 61 Lakhs and successfully conducted training programs worth Rs. 72 Lakhs.

Over the last 5 years, our faculty members have published over 150 articles in esteemed journals and conferences. The department has organized numerous international and national conferences, workshops, seminars, and Faculty Development Programs (FDPs).
