Programme Educational Objectives

Programme Outcomes

On completion of the programme the graduate will

  • Respect for the Historicity of architecture and the change which it has undergone with regard to modern day transformations and manifestation according to the needs of the society
  • Be able to communicate a technological expression that integrates energy efficient materials with technique of application on construction industry.
  • Be able to analyze, understand and evolve an environmental balance which can be achieved by making them comprehend the Man-made and natural systems considering the physical, social and economic spheres
  • Be able to apply creativity, innovations and develop competence in design development towards appropriate technology. Have a commitment to quality with ethical values, timelessness in architecture with continuous improvement

For NRI Candidates

  • Candidates should have completed 12 years of schooling (equivalent to 10+2 system of Indian education, CBSE, ISCE etc.) with Mathematics as a compulsory subject. The candidates should have minimum average of 50% marks in the qualifying examination.
  • Minimum score of 40% in NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture).
  • Date of birth of the candidate should fall on or after 1st July, 1997.

For Foreign Students

  • English as one of the subjects of qualifying examination.
  • Mathematics as a compulsory subject of study in the qualifying examination.
  • Candidates completed A Levels, IB, STPM, HSC, WASSCE, NCEA Level 3, American High School Diploma, etc. with minimum 50% aggregate or equivalent grade a pass in English.
  • Candidates studied under American High School system are eligible, if the above courses have been studied in the 11th and 12th grades or ‘AP’ (Advanced Placement) courses.
  • Minimum score of 40% in NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture).
  • Date of birth of the candidate should fall on or after 1st July, 1997.

SELECTION PROCEDURE

Candidates are selected for admission to B.Arch. Programme based on their merit in Qualifying Examination (10 +2) and score obtained in NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture).

Note : NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) is the entrance test conducted by National Council of Architecture, INDIA.
